If you buy natural diamonds, it’s the same as writing a check, or sending a credit card payment to support a war group. Therefore, buying synthetic diamonds is not only about economics, it’s also about having a clear conscious.

It is always a good idea to keep your synthetic diamonds polished every now and then. This will not only help with their sparkling shine, but will help to preserve them much longer. Since most people want others to think that their synthetic diamonds are genuine diamonds, they need to help keep that appearance through extra care.

One problem with having synthetic diamonds is security. If criminals robbed your house, they aren’t going to know that your stones are not the real thing. Jewelry boxes are always cleaned out when someone robs your house, so it’s best not to keep them there. Store them in places like books, between the lining of photo frames, or inside other boxes.

Use common sense when wearing synthetic diamonds. Don’t flash them in dangerous areas where people are robbed, and don’t wear too many at one time, so you don’t attract opportunistic thieves.

Synthetic diamonds are great to own. Due to their cheap prices, it’s possible to own many of them for the price of one original diamond.
